"These Boots Are Made for Walking"

These are just some crazy boots I found that I thought were interesting.I didn't know you could do so much with a boot! I think you could do more with a boot than with a heel. Boots are fun! My two or 3 most favorite pairs of shoes are converse sneakers, boots, and flip flops.They all have one thing in common.. comfort! When your walking to that bus and you see it whipping around the corner flip flops, boots, and kicks make it very convenient to run to that damn bus! With high heels you can't even run in them because you know you'll smash your face right into the pavement, or you have to take your heels off to run to the bus, and that sucks because then your feet bleed on the bus!Heels are good for occasions when you don't have to move around to much like a wedding, formal, cruising in a limo all day, awards show etc.. The Stars get driven around all day long so thats why they wear heels all the time. For those of us that have to walk down those huge avenues in N.Y.C. during rush hour,boots, kicks, or flip flops will do the trick! .. I want these boots SO BAD!

Have you ever been in a "relationship" where every 3 months or so the other person decides to go out on a date with you...Let me explain..Theres this guy that I've been seeing for a good 3 years, when I first met him he seemed like the greatest guy ever!You'd never think that under that charming exterior there was this basement troll from hell lurking underneath.After about 6 months of the first year we were together he started acting really weird..This pattern of with drawl began... First we talked every day, then it was one day a week, then instead of seeing me once a week it was once every 2 weeks, then once a month etc...We never even had a breakup!This is just his demented view of how a normal relationship should be.. (He probably stopped taking his troll medicine.(ZOL-Troll).. He called me up for my birthday recently and he was like what do you want for your birthday? All I told him was that I wanted a stupid piece of jewelery! like any other gal would ask for...It could have been a friggen plastic necklace from the dollar store for all I care!!! Ever since he's been missing.. I don't know where he is, or what hes doing..I haven't heard from him in a few months..He could be in the Bermuda triangle right now for all I know! Maybe he fell off the face of the universe!!! All I know is that he should be on a milk carton.. I'm not even going to send a real picture of him out to put on my missing person milk cartons, and posters..A troll picture will do just fine! or a monster pic...He is anything but human, and anything but normal...a creature...I should be in The Guinness Book of World Records for being with this creature thing for so long, and the Oprah Show. I'll bring a new topic to her show..."Basement Trolls"...

It Girls Jewelry Box: Art Nouveau Sparkles!

I was reading WWD today and I saw this article on Art Nouveau Jewelry, and I loved it! Remember Roses Dragon Fly Hair piece in Titanic?.. Thats a classic example of Art Nouveau. Art Nouveau also has a very particular look to it also. It's based on nature themes like lilies ,dragon flies , beetles , wasps etc. The period of Art Nouveau was from the late 1890's to around 1918 or so..maybe a little earlier than that.These Jewels are so pretty though! Finally someone decided to change the Jewelery scene around a little bit instead of everything being art deco. I've had enough of Art Deco, I've seen to many art deco rings, and they all look the same after a while. Now we'll get to see rings inspired by fire flies, lilies, beetles etc.

It Girl in Art: The DEVIL WOMAN!!!

We're all a devil woman in our own way right? Whenever I go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art theres so many devil women paintings and statues..It's pretty cool how women are interpreted as being Satan himself in art and literature.I don't think thats a bad thing necessarily.I'd rather be the devil woman from hell than be the blah old boring angel from heaven.Nobody wants to hear about the angel. The more exciting part of the Adam & Eve story is the snake and the temptation and then the angel just ruins the whole story! and Adam, who cares about Adam! He doesn't do anything in that story but sleep behind a bush. Eve's the star! Thats who everyone remembers..So, we shouldn't think of the devil woman as being a sexist symbol which is what a lot of people associate Adam & Eve with.. Being a Devil Woman just means that your a girl who lives outside the box a little bit, and lives a little dangeresouly.(like taking the apple).. She doesn't care what any one thinks. Eve wasn't going to wait around for Adam forever! she said,"The hell with you Adam I'd rather be with the charming snake". The snake was at least fun, and attractive..Adam just slept in the garden all day long and didn't want to do anything..Thats why Eve took the apple. If it weren't for Eve we'd all be miserable right now.. We'd all settle for a guy who sleeps in the garden rather than the charming snake who is one wild ride!

These were going to go on the My Space page but I changed my mind! This is part of the It Girl Revoloution Line that's in the works right now... Its a mixture of everything! It originally started out as lingerie and stage costumes but now it's expanded into Bridal wear, Knit Wear, Evening wear, Burlesque wear, to sportswear!!These are just a few ideas for the collection..I might elaborate on them a little bit and change a few things around..But this is just a sneak peek at whats going on in my head..Check out the new my space page too! I Had the Weirdest Dream last Night....

Last night I had this dream that I was at my summer house and I came through this portal in the mirror and I was trying to rescue someone that was trapped inside the mirror. My parents were waiting for me on the couch and when I came out into the living room I got all these awards... Then like 2 hours later I was hanging out with the Beatles at my kitchen table..They were all young too like 23/24ish..In the dream George Harrison asked me out on a date and all the Beatles were trying to get me to go but my stupid alarm woke me up!!! So now I'll never know what happened in the dream!! I hate when that happens.. When your having the coolest dream ever and you get woken up by the alarm, or your mother, or a door slamming etc..Have you had any cool dreams latley?? post em here!

BBFCG: Classification:John Tucker Must Die!!!

This Boyfriend classification is one of the worst!!Now I know most of you ladies have had an encounter with a John Tucker..If you haven't seen the movie this type of guy is the athletic jock who is usually a man whore, and always makes you feel like your the only one when he's dating 4 other women on the side.. That bastard! I had an encounter with a John Tucker back in high school. I was 15 and I had a huge crush on this guy who was captain of the lacrosse team..Every day I tried to talk to him when ever I had the chance too and talked to him online every night..(I was a little obsessed lol)Well one day he finally asked me out!I was so excited and happy!!We went out on one date to the movies and then I realize like a week later that he was dating some other girl from another high school, and his friends were just playing a mean trick on me!! I was so broken up..I cried and cried..He was such a jerk!! I was so looking foward to taking him to prom and it was so sad when I had to ask one of the gieky guys to prom . So while every other girl had a real piece of arm candy I had my giek, and lacrosse captain was there of course with whoever he was with at the time..bum! I look back now and laugh but at the time it was a horrible experience to go through and so humiliating!If I were to go back I'd get revenge on that bastard!! I'd be like Kate in John Tucker must die the It Girl of revenge!! Kate and her crew were so mean to him! That movie is an example of how we should handle a guy like this..Don't break up get revenge!!

What happened Lindsey! Hit by a bike and the next day in the hospital?? I guess the same thing would've happened to the rest of us if we were that inebriated at a party. I've heard of other things happening at a party but never anything like this! I guess its a lesson to show all of us that we don't want to be the person thats "failing the party"(lol).. Do the Do!! Beauties of the Star Wars Galaxy and thier Whoah! Hair..

I want hair like this!Their the heroes for any of us that has flat hair or frizzy hair. Star Wars hair is the best hair to have and looks good too.When I was little and even now I am still befuddled as to how they get their hair that way! I always wanted braids like princess Leia's and when ever I got done watching Star Wars I always tried to copy my hair just like hers. To bad high school is over for me now..I'd totally do my hair like princess Leia's, with all the long braids for prom or for a formal or something. She is truly the best Galaxy babe of all time!There is a flip side though, Princess Leia also owns the most controversial hair do of all.. Those ear buns!! Some people like them and some people hate them too.I'm going to leave that opinion open for all of you to decide. Are Leia's ear buns hideous or do you think theres possibilities?

My Experience with The Black Card...The day I was the poorest millionaire ever..

The American Express Black Card..How we'd all love to have one!If you do own one thats awesome if not, like myself I have a Black Card Tale to share with you..Last summer I was interning for a stylist in N.Y.C. My little intern job was to do clothing drop offs and returns from photo shoots, and to assist the stylist in buying the clothes for the stars...Well during my first week or so there, she pulls out her Amex Black Card and gives it to me like its nothing!!Like its a bag of chips or something!She told me to go to all these stores to drop off the clothes from the previous shoot the day before.She totally trusted me with the mother of all cards. When I went out to all these stores and Boutiques people thought that was MY black card and treated me like royalty! Well one day(your not gonna believe this)she sends me to Duane Reade to pick up a lousy magazine with the Black Card! A $5.00 magazine!! That was pretty embarrassing.. The chick at the register was looking at me like I had 9 heads. As though that wasn't bad enough she sends me back to the Duane Reade with the card to return the magazine and get her receipt back! a double blow.. I looked like the poorest rich person ever! Like yeah I have the Black Card but I don't have any real cash to pay for a magazine..lol.. Do you have an embarrassing register checkout story to share with us?

This Madonna album cover is great! I love the dress..This look could work for the big day you'd just have to change a few things obviously. Maybe the hair,and a little less jewlery, and instead of the boy toy belt get the necklace! You could get the "boy toy" necklace encrusted in Swarovski Crystal. If ya got the bucks get a custom made boy toy necklace in silver and crystals. I love the tulle skirt with the little hearts on it! Thats so fun. Of course we'd all love to have a closet like Mariahs but if your on a budget getting some closet organizers from Ikea for example wouldn't be a bad idea at all. She has a lounge chair in her kitchen..lol Also Buy a big comfortable squishy couch like Mariahs to put in your living room/T.V. room, and paint the walls a serene color like a very light blue or minty green.Don't forget your room, make it luxurious and feminine. Put lots of pillows on the bed and a draping valance to hang over it. See, if ya lived with a guy you couldn't do any of these fun things with your space. The whole house would just be plain old white walls,with ugly gray chairs and no pretty throw pillows or crystal chandeliers in the hall ways.. Get Ready for Fall!

Sadly, there is only one month of summer left.. I've been cleaning out my closet organizing my fall wardrobe and I've realized I'm low on winter clothes! All I have in the way of foot wear is a pair of converse sneakers, but I have no boots.. I also need to get a nice coat too. I've gotten rid of all my other ones.. I'm kind of overwhelmed now because I'm on a budget and I need all this stuff! So make sure you start saving for those shopping trips in September and October to stash up on some pretty boots, jeans, & sweaters, nothing is worse than when the weather changes and we have nothing to wear & no money for it. Pretty much what I'm trying to say is get ready for the fall season! because it'll sneak up on us fast and we need to look good for it.

I got this perfume for my birthday recently and I immediately fell in love with it. Versace's "Bright Crystal" is a light smelling fragrance, it's not too flowery, and not too fruit smelling. You'll be addicted to this perfume from the first time you wear it. It's perfect for the evening or to wear throughout the day plus the bottle is adorable! It has a giant crystal for the bottle top.

gothic fairytale fashion:

This is a niche of fashion thats quite hidden. Designers haven't really done too much with it except John Galliano but its a beautiful look! and the great part about it is you could mix pieces up so that you won't look like a goth goth but it will give you a fairy tale heir which can be quite charming when tastefully done. You can wear leather lace up boots with jeans or a denim mini skirt and wear your hair long and wavy with a lace up top, or you could wear a long skirt with a corset top in earth tones and mix denim up with that also. My most favorite movie reference to this look is Sleepy Hollow. The costumes in that film are gorgeous! as well as the illustrations of Victoria Francis.

Theres more than one way to sport the ultimate sexy accessory. It seams that whenever I am looking for a corset or bustier all I can find are the lingerie ones. I get so frustrated sometimes because theres more than one occasion that we all should be wearing our corsets or waist cinchers. Not only for costume and Lingerie reasons but why not wear one to work with a pencil skirt and button up jacket like Jayne Mansfield only without the big hat(l0l) that would be a perfect look to wear to work. Or if your going to a club or to a rock concert borrow from Underworld and wear some boots and a leather corselette or corset with some leather pants or plain jeans. That would look awesome!Maybe for that special night when you need to dress up you could make yourself an evening wear bustier, or even for summer make yourself a cute gingham bustier, or denim. The possibilities are endless!!Even a corset belt would give you an edge to your look. Give em a try!
