It Girl in Art: The DEVIL WOMAN!!!

We're all a devil woman in our own way right? Whenever I go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art theres so many devil women paintings and statues..It's pretty cool how women are interpreted as being Satan himself in art and literature.I don't think thats a bad thing necessarily.I'd rather be the devil woman from hell than be the blah old boring angel from heaven.Nobody wants to hear about the angel. The more exciting part of the Adam & Eve story is the snake and the temptation and then the angel just ruins the whole story! and Adam, who cares about Adam! He doesn't do anything in that story but sleep behind a bush. Eve's the star! Thats who everyone remembers..So, we shouldn't think of the devil woman as being a sexist symbol which is what a lot of people associate Adam & Eve with.. Being a Devil Woman just means that your a girl who lives outside the box a little bit, and lives a little dangeresouly.(like taking the apple).. She doesn't care what any one thinks. Eve wasn't going to wait around for Adam forever! she said,"The hell with you Adam I'd rather be with the charming snake". The snake was at least fun, and attractive..Adam just slept in the garden all day long and didn't want to do anything..Thats why Eve took the apple. If it weren't for Eve we'd all be miserable right now.. We'd all settle for a guy who sleeps in the garden rather than the charming snake who is one wild ride!
