"IT" is that quality possessed by some which draws all others with its magnetic force. With "IT" you win all men if you are a woman—all women if you are a man. "IT" can be a quality of the mind as well as a physical attraction.
Self-confidence and indifference whether you are pleasing or not—and something in you that gives the impression that you are not at all cold. That's "IT".

Scarlett’s Wedding Night:

It Girls, Let’s Face it, we all want to be Scarlett in some way! Why Not really do it. What better occasion to look like Scarlett in this pic than for your wedding? Or even prom for that matter! This famous scene of Scarlett getting laced up would be perfect for Bridal lingerie. Instead of that tacky cheap Victoria’s Secret G String and Wonder Bra, Why Not wear something like this under your wedding gown. A simple corselet or corset, a chemise, and a Bridal Petticoat like this one! It’s perfect it’s not too puffy, it would be easy to move around in, and then when you (or your man) takes your gown off on the wedding night you’ll look great! And then he can unpeel the layers. It won’t just be a G-string and push up bra. That look is so out! Scarlett’s back!

Hair & Makeup: Doesn’t her hair look beautiful here? It’s set in beautiful pin curls and just cascades down her shoulders like a goddess. Her makeup is beautiful too. Notice that Scarlett isn’t tan, and she’s gorgeous! You don’t have to be tan to be sexy, girls. If you don’t have a tan it doesn’t mean you look like Casper, I don’t know who invented that saying but obviesouly that person has no idea what their talking about! They’ve never seen Scarlett! How come we don’t wear hair like this on our wedding day? Or prom? Why do we keep on looking like clowns with bright pink lip gloss & heavy blue & green eye shadow, yuck! Natural looking makeup and these adorable curls would do the trick for your wedding or prom and it’s a cheap and easy way to save money instead of going to the salon and dropping all that $.It Girls, Take that extra $ and buy yourself some diamonds. You deserve it!

Here are some ideas for Scarlett’s wedding Night:

If you decide to make your Scarlett’s wedding night try making it out of real antique fabrics like antique silk brocade, this can be your something old! If you need a pattern there are vintage and antique pattern websites where you could find either a petticoat pattern or a corset pattern, otherwise McCall’s, Vogue, & Butterick have just fine corset patterns. Add some antique lace to your bridal veil as well, or trim your petticoat and corset with some it will truly make a difference in the way it looks. If you do not decide to make your Scarlett’s wedding night and buy it instead there are antique clothing dealers on the web that sell fabulous Scarlett Lingerie for great prices. One of my favorite stores is an ebay store with great antique lingerie, The Goddess of Vintage. Check it out at www.stores.ebay.com/THE-GODDESS-OF-VINTAGE/

THE EPIC NOVEL IT GIRL DUO: Margaret Mitchell & Scarlett O Hara

Scarlett O Hara: Why she’s is an It Girl

She's a sexy young woman that all the guys want and the women hate... Scarlett doesn't care which guy wants her even if he is Rhett Butler... if a guy doesn't give her what she wants she lets them know about it and gives them the boot... Scarlett OHara is not afraid to murder a man... LOL, my most favorite part of the story is when she takes the gun and shoots that DAMN YANKEE in the head that tries to take advantage of her .... an example all of us young women need to turn to.... not to kill a man but to take care of yourself... Scarlett OHara is a poster girl for all young women having a rocky start....

and for those of you who don't know who she is.....

Scarlett is strong and saves her family but is incredibly selfish and petty at the same time. She challenges nineteenth-century society's gender roles repeatedly, running a store and two lumber mills at one point. Scarlett is in some ways the least stereotypically feminine of women (in other ways the most), and the more traditional Melanie Wilkes is in many ways her foil. But Scarlett survives the war, three marriages, the birth of children, and even a miscarriage.

Scarlett presents a fresher, deeper female characterization; she lives a complicated life during a difficult period of history. Some of Scarlett's quotes from Gone with the Wind like "Fiddle-Dee Dee!" "Tomorrow is another day," "Great balls of fire!" and "I'll never go hungry again!” have become modern catchphrases.

Margaret Mitchell: Author of Gone with the Wind

Why She’s an It Girl: She won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 for the Novel Gone with the Wind published in 1936. The novel is one of the most popular books of all time, selling more than 30 million copies. The Gone with the Wind movie, released in 1939, became the highest-grossing film in the history of Hollywood, and received a record-breaking number of Academy Awards...Not bad for a female writer eh?

The Very First "It Girl"

"IT" is that quality possessed by some which draws all others with its magnetic force. With "IT" you win all men if you are a woman—all women if you are a man. "IT" can be a quality of the mind as well as a physical attraction.
Self-confidence and indifference whether you are pleasing or not—and something in you that gives the impression that you are not at all cold. That's "IT".
-Elinor Glyn
Defined by Novelist Elinor Glyn who made the term "It Girl" popular for our first it girl Silent Screen gem Miss Clara Bow.
In 1927, Clara Bow reached the height of her fame in the film "It". the movie was based on a story by Elinor Glyn, and soon after the films release, Miss Clara Bow became known as the first "It Girl." In Glynn's story, It, a character explains what "It" really is: "It...that strange magnetism which attracts both sexes...entirely unself-conscious...full of self-confidence...indifferent to the effect...she is producing and uninfluenced by others.")
